"Another Freedom We May Lose: If We Don't Act!"

The Threat is real! How Does This Threat To Internet Freedom Affect You? An Enlightening List

This is just the beginning. Cable and telco giants want to eliminate the Internet's open road in favor of a tollway that protects their status quo while stifling new ideas and innovation. If they get their way, they'll shut down the free flow of information and dictate how you use the Internet.

The SavetheInternet.com Coalition is made up of groups from across the political spectrum that have banded together to save the First Amendment of the Internet: network neutrality. No corporation or political party is funding these efforts.

Congress is pushing a law that would abandon the Internet's First Amendment-- a principle called Network Neutrality that prevents companies like AT&T, Verizon and Comcast from deciding which web sites work best for you--based on what site pays them the most. If the public doesn't speak up now, our elected officials will cave to a multi-million dollar lobbying campaign.

Please come here and talk to me
I have so much to say
although I am not visible
I am not far away.

I see your pain and hear your cries
there evident to me
and though you try to silence them
there still so clear to see.

I came here from another time
and found so many who
have looked a lot like innocence
like many strangers do.

You know, you never mentioned
how deep and dark the path
you traveled on to get here
and all on my behalf.

Let me tell you something
you've probably heard before
but I was where you came from
what you were looking for.

I found it on a lonely night
when everything was still
it wrapped it's arms around me
and took away the chill.

I looked a little closer
to my surprise abound
a tender smile, a loving heart
and home I knew I'd found.

Although I couldn't touch you
not in the human sense
I felt your warmth and drew you near
and felt such love, immense.

I knew I could protect you
and never had a doubt
as long as you were with me
just good could come about.

I had to run before I crawled
it was the only way
and every lesson taught to me
was born on each new day.

Clouds were high and far away
when you would come to call
and how I wish you never left
had you been here at all.

Was it just wishful thinking
that every time you came
the sky would open, light would fall
and I'd be born again.

I can't help but believing
that you are here to stay
because you've shown me so much Love
in each and every day.

So safe I feel beside you
so tender when I hold you
and how could it be something else
when I so much adore you.

When time is gone and there's no wind
and everything is still
I'll think of you, still wanting you
my heart you'll always fill.

I'm glad we met and had this talk
I needed it, you see
I wasn't going anywhere
unless you were with me.

 "Some Up's and Down's"

My picks for Judges...UP! They reveled in a landslide victory! The Ladies brought it home!
Congratulations to: Sarah, Sue and Nancy!

Now, moving DOWN:
"Florida Republicans Choose Katherine Harris"

Attorney General Charlie Crist won Florida's Republican primary for governor in a landslide Tuesday, while Katherine Harris easily defeated three challengers in the party's Senate primary.

For anyone who doesn't know who Katherine Harris is...you're lucky!! Republican leaders in Florida and Washington tried to recruit Allan G. Bense, the speaker of the Florida House of Representatives, and others to run against Ms. Harris.

In May, Carole Jean Jordon, chairwoman of the Florida Republican Party even wrote to Ms. Harris a letter urging her to abandon the race! More than a dozen members of Ms. Harris's campaign staff quit in the last six months, with some complaining openly about her behavior. And this is just unbelievable, but here goes: She also suffered from the revelation that Mitchell Wade, the military contractor who pleaded GUILTY to BRIBING former Representative Randy Cunnimgham, Republican of California, admitted funneling illegal contributions to her 2004 re-election campaign.

Ms. Harris tried to get $10 million in federal financing to help Mr.Wade with a project in her district, but she has denied knowing that the donations were illegal and has not been charged with wrongdoing!

Another DOWN: It looks like Crist, (unless a natural disaster invades the brains of certain Floridians) may just be our next Governor!

All I have to say is...I'm with Bill Maher...I'M SWISS!!!!

Peace to all and to all a Good-Night! SOLID

 " A New Day "

The splendor of this beautiful creature brings thoughts of change and for a long time, the "Butterfly" in all it's glory held thoughts of danger and fear for me, in knowing how it evolved.
It must have been that "science project" at age '10' and I should have never peeked under the sheet and looked in the aquarium at '3' in the morning.
Today I see it a little differently, though not totally without remembering where it was, and so I understand that, like the "Butterfly", we begin, unsure, blind to the beauty around us, trying to look past the way it was and accept the way it is.
Accepting that I will be the best I can be today without any expectations of where I will land, and spread my wings and fly.
I will shine with brilliant color and even if those colors begin to fade, I will remind myself of where I came from, how I evolved, and what more I have to look forward to!

Wishing you all a wonderful day!

Love...Solid

"Soul Series" - Part 1 - "Soul Mates"

Your soul is consciousness or thought. We often perceive it as a creational flame, a light or a soul spark of light. Physical reality is made up of electromagnetic energy which has poles (north/south) - polarity - duality - opposites - male/female - yin/yang.

When you experience in third dimension your soul sparks splits in half - male and female. One half remains in higher frequency [As is Above] while one half spirals in third dimension [So is Below].
If you are female, your partner above is male and vice versa.
(In later chapters will be discussed how soul mates can also be of the same sex.)
Sometimes you catch a glimpse of that spark of light - if only for a second. The flash of light appears as gold, silver, blue, or violet and can vary in size and duration of time - usually no more than one second.
It is at this time - we are raising our frequency - our level of consciousness thought - to experience beyond what our physical eyes show us.

Many people miss their other soul aspect, and feel incomplete throughout their lives. They feel alone, often abandoned and lost, depressed.
They cannot find themselves.
A piece of them is always missing. If their lucky, they find someone who comes close to making them feel whole. They want someone to love them, share with them and help them through this journey.

When you make love with that partner - you can experience all of who you are - the union is multi-dimensional.
You can also feel the energies of your other soul aspect - as part of the union!

"A soul mate is someone to whom we feel profoundly connected, as though the communication and communing that take place between us were not the product of intentional efforts, but rather a divine grace.

This kind of relationship is so important to the soul that many have said there is nothing more precious in life."

-Thomas Moore - from "Care of the Soul"
